It takes a village of sexy weirdos to keep the magic alive. To earn our coveted 6th Star and keep the Grand Hotel running smooth, every camper is required to work two (2) four-hour shifts during the week.

Highlights of what’s involved
- An Ashrammer takes the long lovely ride home as the sun sets on playa, their face dusty, heart full, their stomach is rumbling. As they ride toward the end of 9, somewhere in the middle of the alphabet they smell in the distance… is that Tikka Masala? Taco Tuesday? Hell, is it STEAK NIGHT? Whatever is it, it will be delicious and YOU will be playing a role in feeding this hungry Shrammer!
- All Call for flavor czars, sous chefs, grill masters, and non-cookers of the off-playa world! All skills are welcome as this team cooks with love and good vibes!
- This is a team effort as 2 lead chefs will guide you in whipping up the night’s dinner.
- This is a place even for those who are not equipped in their own kitchen but can have a beautiful time bonding with other camp mates over folly or foe. It’s your time to tell!

Highlights of what’s involved
- 🍳 Ashram Galactica Brekkie Team: “Food is medicine – and breakfast is the soul.”
- The Brekkie Team kicks off the day with purpose, tunes, and the smell of sizzling bacon. We usually start around 8:00–8:30 AM—scrambling eggs, cooking up trays of bacon, refreshing side dishes, and keeping everything looking good and tasting better. We also make the coffee, it’s not the best but it’ll get ya goin!
- It’s more than just brekkie—it’s soul food. You’ll see early risers and dusty late-nighters all coming through for a feed. There’s something special about seeing people smile and refuel before their day on playa. It’s a couple of hours of teamwork, music, and real connection.
- You’ll be teaming up with Lisa (aka the Bacon Baroness) and Craig (aka Wino)—who’ll show you the ropes and keep things running smooth. Once the red velvet rope drops, campers help themselves, but it’s the Brekkie Team behind the scenes bringing the magic.
- It’s not the chillest shift—but it’s rewarding, grounding, and honestly? One of the most meaningful ways to start your day.
